5K Awards

For many race participants, crossing the finish line is the reward for the effort expended. For those among us that are competitive athletes, here is added incentive to finish ahead of the pack.

Summary:

• $100 award for setting new open 5K course record (Male 14:52/Female 17:38)
• $550 in 5K prize money
• Cash prizes for M/F finishers 3/1/1 Deep - Open/Masters/Groton resident
• Awards to top 3 M/F finishers in the follow age groups: 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• The Race Committee may substitute gift certificates of equal or greater value in lieu of cash prizes.
