The Groton Road Race wouldn't take place each year without the generous support of our sponsors (listed below). Over the last 16 years Groton Road Race has grown into one of the most well regarded races in New England. It is the single largest event for Groton and the surrounding towns during the year.

We attract more than 2,000 runners each race day who bring family, friends, and neighbors to cheer them on. That's about 3,000 people gathering in Groton on the last Sunday in April. Wouldn't you like to get your company's name in front of this audience of affluent, family-focused, athletic people?

Here are just a few demographics of our runners:

  • The Groton Road Race is about families. Families attend together and often run together: in 3s, 4s and 5s.
  • The Groton Road Race is about our communities: The majority of runners come from Groton, Dunstable, and neighboring towns - Pepperell, Ayer, Littleton, Shirley and Harvard.
  • Running is a highly visible, upscale activity. Our road race is one of the few major community festivals of the year, with thousands in attendance and heavy media coverage. Runners are enthusiastic, outgoing, involved people, with an interest in health, fitness, appearance and self-improvement.
  • Our runners range in age from 3-70. The average age in the 5K is 34; average age in the 10K is 39.

It doesn't matter what kind of support you can provide - monetary contribution or in-kind donations - it all helps create an event that runners remember and keep coming back to year after year. All our sponsors are recognized for several months leading up to race day, during the day, and in any post-race communications with the runners.

If you would like to generate more business and be recognized as a supporter of the Groton community, please complete our sponsorship form and we'll get in touch with you.
